I resprayed my PX 125 and now the bloody lights and horn wont work!
I have checked the leads behind the spare wheel and into the boxes there but there was very little unconnected other that the indicators etc. The majority of the bits were just masked as I was blowung over.
Has anyone any ideas. It isnt raining and I could do with the solitude.
Many thanks
John

Hi John, I'd say that your lights and horn problem is unrelated to the spraying. It was probably just unfortunate that they coincided. If your PX is a non battery model i'd say either the horn is broken internally (this can make the lights stop working believe it or not) or your regulator box has gone (under left panel, 3 wires). The AC power on a PX is sent to the horn first, then back to the regulator box, then out to the handlebar switches for the lights. Personally i'd buy one of those really cheap multimeters and test the output of the regulator box first. If that's sending out power to the rest of the scoot then i'd go buy a replacement horn.
