Ok the polini 180 kit has been fitted and improves the out of the block performance and at the moment gives a bit more top end, but does anybody know whether you can get any more cruising top end out of the engine without revving the backside out of it?
Current set up is Polini 180 kit, standard dellorto carb but jetting reset and a simonini pipe.

Cheers

Only way I know of is to get an upgear kit. SIP in Germany sell them + possibly Beedspeed too.

Or fit a 4.00x10 rear tyre. You'd have to space it out a bit with washers to move the tyre away from the clutch housing. Fitting it would lower your gear ratio so you'd get more speed in each gear and more top end speed.
I fitted 3.50x10's (from 3.00x10) to my smallframe years ago which had the same effect. It could affect your pullaway performance though if the power isn't there to run it.
