Knowing that Peugeot's aircooled scooters share a lot of components, will a 50cc engine from a Trekker bolt into a 100cc Speedfighter frame?

I can imagine that many would want to do it the other way round !

My thanks in advance for any informed advice.

Sorry mate, can't help you there as my experience is only with geared Vespa's & Lambretta's. I'm not sure if there are alot of forums out there for auto's but it might be worth trying a search on Google for an answer.
