peugeot problems

i have an x reg, peugeot speedfight. which has been garaged for approx 18 months due to company car, i now am looking to get back on the road, i am aware of the paperwork requirements to do this, but am unsure about any repairs/checks that may be needed. Also the suspension on the front seems to go to far down and feels like it is hitting the base. Any help or advice on this wold be greatly appreaciated. Particualrly from anyone with peugeot experience. Cheers

Hi Ian, No peugot experience here but if i were you i'd punp up the tyres as they're probably either flat or in serious need of air by now. The battery will probably also be flat. I'd take it off and charge it up. If you haven't got a charger, you can buy one cheap from any car shop and it'll be cheaper than buyiing a new battery.
With the suspension, i wouldn't worry unless the scooter has been in a crash. If it hasn't there's no reason why the suspension should have failed. If you're still worried though try and get it to a shop so they can look it over. At least it'll give you peace of mind.
