Here is a question that should be pretty easy for you folks, I just ran across a clean 1980 Vespa Grande. What is the small hand lever on the left handle under the clutch cable for? I'm talking about the one that runs from the lever directly into the motor.

Not too familiar with this model but i'd say it was the choke lever, used for easier starting of the engine when cold.

I guess it could be , but there is a manual choke lever located on top of the motor. Can't figure why there would be two.

It's a 50cc moped with pedals. Sod all info on it on the net though. Just a few bad pictures of ones that people were trying to sell.Maybe it's an indicator switch (turn signals). If none are fitted maybe  someone's removed them.
