Sorry worz can we put this on hold for a few days?
theres a small chance my new mac wont be able to connect to the office computer (cnuts could've told me before i bought it!) and until I sort that out I cant give away the pc in case I'm forced to repair it for work - unlikely to be honest, but just in case...

No probs but you should be able to connect with a mac as they use the same wan and lan protocols as windows, linux, unix etc. Unless you need a special program to connect to your work that's only been written for windoze.

worz its all good - finally managed to connect to the internet (old modem was incompatable with intel macs) and am currently 'working from home' ie skiving from home...what a concept.
anyway, weekend good for ya? let me know and I'll pm my address etc

I'm downloading stuff. Fantastic Four and Transformers to be precise. Hopefully won't be too long before I get them and it'll be back to normal. In fact it should be faster than normal as I've installed something that's supposed to send it to warp speed and beyondddd
