worz, soon as I get my new computer (possibly tonight) you can have the old one but...
as I said at the moment it doesnt work. it has power, the motherboard seems ok but it dont boot up. might only need a clean (very dusty inside) and maybe if you take out some of the components and put back in again it'll be ok...but not sure. It'll be ok for spare parts though - p4 3.2 ghz, 1 or 2 gig of ram, abit uguru motherboard etc.
Else I'll keep it and try and rebuild it as a spare for myself.

Cheers fella, I'll give it a go and see if I can fix it. I've had quite a bit of experience fixing mine and others computers so you never know. Let me know when you're ready and if you pm me your address and a day/time etc. I'll come and pick it up on me scoot.

also I assume you have software for the operating system already? I reinstalled windows xp from work on it about 6 weeks ago but didnt register it (you have 8 weeks or something to register it) but I want to keep the registration for myself in case I need to run windows on my mac

It sure does... As long as he turns up to the next two club meetings haha. Same rules for newcomers and people we know. We even made Moose and Elaine (Roz and Maria's brother) turn up for 3 meets before he could join. Plus the bit on the club meetings page... We like you and you like us and then you're entitled to join. Although we like Spannas so he's ok there.
