Joining ELMS Scooter Club!

Meeting Place

Every second Friday of the month, 8.30pm onwards.
The Young Prince Public House
448 Roman Road
Bow,
London
E3 5LU

How to Join

You should attend 2 club meetings and one overnight scooter rally to be eligible to join. This is so all the club members can get to know you (and you us). After this period, a vote will be taken by all members on allowing you into the club. Don't worry, that's as bad as it gets.

Club Subs

New members pay £20 for the first year. This includes a black club shirt with embroidered logo and club legshield banner for your scooter. After that it's £15 a year.
All members get a say in the running of the club. We have an optional points system where members compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for doing the most amount of rallies and rideouts. (see points table).

What Sort of Club Are We

We are your average rally going scooter club. We ride classic geared Vespa and Lambretta scooters (autos are allowed). More Scooterist than anything else. Most of us have been in the scene since our teens and some are a bit newer to the scene. We're just normal people that love scooters and the scene that goes with it. We love riding. We love drinking. We are very sociable and get along with many individuals and other clubs. Although club politics does occasionally creep into any club, we don't like club politics and try to stay away from it. How do we stay away from it? We go on rallies, have a beer, have a laugh. Isn't that what it's supposed to be about?
