I saw it a few times in Allstyles about 8 years ago (he's had it longer than that). It was on display in their shop. There was a rumour going round that it wasn't the REAL scooter from Quadrophenia. People were saying that the guy made a replica and then managed to buy the numberplate from somewhere. Don't know if that's true or not though. Still, as long as you get THAT number plate and it looks the same, who's to know anyway. welcome

Dunno about that. My experience of crash bars is that cos the crash bar is stronger they bend the crap out of the legshields which are very thin. Although it's a doddle to change the legshields on a Lammy so easy to replace.

It'll probably be up for 40 Grand by the time you're 40 Parker. Plus by the time you're 40 the average Lammy will probably be worth £15,000 just cos they'll be so old and not many left. Maybe! I dunno! haha.

Probably have to pay a lot for insurance though. Standard insurance won't cover you for 25 grands worth of scooter.

From when it would have originally been painted, probably cellulose. Apparently in the last few years it's been made illegal to spray with it cos it's toxic. You can get the same colours with any kind of paint though.
