Finally fitted me Malossi kit today. After loads of calls to Kegra asking where me cylinder head was that I ordered 2 weeks ago. Fair play to them though, they'd sent it the same day I ordered. It was Citylink's fault that it hadn't turned up. I was so pissed off with waiting for it to be delivered, I went and picked it up from their depot in Barking.

Took the scoot outside and it started first kick which is unusal for my scooter and let it tick over for 10 minutes to warm up. The first thing I noticed was how much louder the exhaust sounded. Got on the scoot and pulled away. The extra power was noticable straight away. I wanted to open it up but I refrained cos I want the kit to last a while and I've got to run it in. The Malossi guidlines say run it up to half throttle for 20 minutes and it's run in! Bollox, I'm gonna give it at least 200 miles before i open it up.

Well, so far so good!

No mate, not done much to it. I learnt my lesson with smallframes when I had casings ported, cut cranks, upgear kits, reed block manifolds, 3.50*10 tyres etc. Not too reliable.

I Need my P2 to be reliable but I wanted more power to climb them there hills without having to slow down. So I've opted for standard casings, Malossi 210, Skimmed reworked head, 130 main jet and that nasty PM Tuning exhaust which I'm gonna have to change cos it keeps hitting the ground.

One good thing about the Malossi though is that it weighs a fith of the standard barrel. So I've got less weight.
