I was thinking about getting them a while ago but what put me off is that a set of AAA batteries only last 45 mins in them. eeks

3 AAA's in each glove. That's expensive.

Depends on how far you're going though dunnit. 150 miles you'd need them on a lot. If you switched them off after 5 mins to save the battery, the cold would creep in quickly. Better to wire them up to your elestart battery. Be warm all the time then.

Now I think about it, 3 AAA batteries equals 4.5volts. Stick the 12volt supply from a PX on it and your hands will either cook or go up in flames lol. Will keep them warmer though!
