Hey Guys

Hope you are all well.  I left London last week and now live in a little village called Elmstead Market, just outside of Colchester.  I have a little thatched cottage with a pink door (very skinhead!).  I was hoping to stay in London and just rent a room whilst I was studying, but it all went tits up, so I decided to move out lock stock and barrel.
Its incredibly quiet here with just one SPAR shop, a pub a chippy and an Indian(!) so not like Barking at all.
I have applied for my licence back and hopefully it will come through soon as the last bus is at 8.20pm.
I will be about and will hopefully see you all soon.  Feel free to stop by if you are doing any of the colchester/clacton do's... you cant miss the pink door!

All the best

Jim

Oi. I do a mean Chutney  winks I like mine Hot & Spicy (dunno if thats what you want?)

Chuck some sweet red peppers, apricots, rasins, onion, garlic, gingerroot, salt, red peppers, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and sugar in to a large saucepan. A good handfull of each and finely diced. Cook on a medium heat, uncovered and stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves for about 5 minutes. Add some vinagar and stir often for about 35 minutes until the mixture is shiny. Let it cool, cover and bung it in the fridge. Grab yourself a beer and sit back.

Your Hot & Spicy Chutney is ready. Happy cooking!  icon_thumright
