Sent an email today to Robert Elms at BBC RADIO LONDON. Dunno if any of you lot listen to his show but part of it is where joe public phones or emails him and asks a question about something to do with London. It might be an old pub, street name, building, you get the jist. I asked him if he could ask his listeners if anyone knows anything about ELMS SC in the 1950's. So if you fancy a good listen tune into 94.9FM or Sky Channel 902 between midday and 3pm. By the way, he plays very good music aswell.

As far as i know, no. Was over Nicolas and didn't have very good reception on the cab radio. Normally if he dosnt get a very good response he goes back to it. Was thinking though, if you was our age (late 30's) in 1956, you would, and most probably now be dead!!! |

Ah cheers for that. Just tried to listen but they only allow you to fast forward five minutes at a time and I must have missed it. I'll have to try and record the whole 3 hour show.
