Good fellow 2stroke fans,

I am here to tell you an incredible story.  Meet Zach (lilbuddy) Lee and Graham (el presidente) French.  These 2 youngsters are attempting something some people would call stupid, but most call it awesome.  They have been riding their mopeds, yes that’s right mopeds, not motorcycles or dirt-bikes but mopeds all through South America.  They left on January 5th and have already made it to Peru.  Their goal is to make it all the way to Tierra Del Feugo, the southern most tip of Chile.

So far the have been robbed, arrested, stranded, arrested, blown 4 piston rings, arrested, gone though 3 clutches (one made of coconut husk I’m not kidding), had their frames re-welded countless times,  and through all this they still ride into the night.  At this point their bikes are more jb-weld than metal.  Their exhaust stingers are coke cans, their frames are made of rusted iron, they are living off bread and mangos and they still have sh*t eating grins on their faces.

Let me give you a little history about how this journey came about.  Graham and Lee are part of a moped gang in San Francisco called, The Creatures of the Loin You are not allowed to view links.

So why mopeds? They are cheap, you can work on them with a 10$ tool kit, they get over 100MPG, they have very very lax registration laws (some states don’t even require licenses), you can park them anywhere and oh yeah, they are sh*t tons of fun to ride.  Graham and Lee are HEROS of the moped community.  They are breaking the world record for the longest moped trip in history.  Right now the record is 11,500 miles and was done in Canada and Alaska (You are not allowed to view links.

Our boys are going to break that record.  We wont know the total mileage until they finish but we are expecting around 15,000 miles.  On a frikkin moped.  Right now they are in Peru.  They are 1 country away from the home stretch but they have spent a lot more money than they expected and do not have enough to come back, just enough to make it there.

So basically this post is asking for a little help.  Just a dollar or 2 makes the world of difference.  Be a part of history and help us bring these crazy mofos home.  The goal is to fly them back to America, they will hop on their bikes and ride to Kalamazoo, Michigan which is where the biggest moped rally is held.  Last year there were 150 mopeders!

So we set up a paypal drive for these guys.  Feel free to post this on other message boards and websites where you think it would get a positive response.  Even if only one person from that site donates 5$ it will make a difference.  Check out the links below to read about their journey and check out some of the crazy pics.
Please send donations to this email..
